Dinner tonight was a nice tuna salad with some farmer's market spinach and local-grown tomatoes. With radishes and a terrific green onion from our very own garden. Yum. Granted, I'd been picking and eating rhubarb for a while now, but this was the first harvest this year that we ourselves had planted.I planted our second crop of spinach, lettuce, and corn salad. I also planted some more Thai basil and an okra in the indoor greenhouse.
Everything in the garden is doing beautifully. We set out the sprinkler today and gave everything a good drink. The corn, despite having just poked through the ground, must be about four inches tall already. Almost time to plant the beans to climb up the stalks!
