5/14 update

Played hooky from work this afternoon to play in the garden and get ready to see our friend Dave down in Peoria. Got a LOT done. There's a photo of our nightshade bed, with peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant (and some basil and marigolds in the foreground).

Planted:

• All tomatoes
• Orange and Purple Bell Peppers
• Scotchbonnet Peppers
• Sweet Banana Pepper
• Corn
• Sweet Potatoes
  
• Okra
• More Broccoli
• Scotch Moss and Irish Moss
  

Then we started digging out some perennial flowers to take down to Dave. He's doing a purple-themed front bed, so we dug up for him:

• Green- and Blue-leaved Hostas
• Coral Bell
• Ajuga
• (and some purple pansies we're not going to use)
