This weekend, we stopped by Wallaces. Fun was had. Came home with three blueberry bushes, two roses, some herbs, a grass with a purple flower, some wormwood, and lemon thyme. Trenched celery in the garden; rue and lemon verbena in herb pots. Pulled weeds. Planted roses and re-arranged flower beds. Edged front beds. Got mildly sunburned.
Monday, we planted carrots in the garden; basil (sweet, purple, and thai), cilantro, chamomile in pots, spread weed & feed, laid out new shapes for front and side beds. Noticed peas, lettuce, and radishes poking through the top of the ground. Watered for good measure. Remembered to wear head covering this time.
